Volunteer Opportunities for Teens
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Library!
The library offers volunteer hours twice each month for teens to register for. Teens can check the Library's online calendar for dates and times as well as to register.
Please read the following expectations.
- Registration for volunteer hours is required.
- Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. If you are 18 or over, please fill out the Adult Volunteer application.
- If you do not show without letting staff know more than twice, you may not sign up again.
- If you consistently do not finish your volunteer shift, you may not sign up again.
- The Library has a limited amount of volunteer hours available, if you need more hours look for volunteering opportunities at other locations in addition to the Library (see below for some other community locations to try).
- Staff will sign off on volunteer hours at the end of the hours. Staff will only sign off for the hours you completed worked.
- Volunteers are expected to follow all the rules of the Library.
Volunteer activities may include organizing materials, cleaning, helping with programs, or other activities to be decided by Library staff.
