Film Screening of "Cradle"

Join Planned Parenthood of Greater New York for a screening of "Cradle" with a community conversation on teen pregnancy to follow. The director and writer, Prince Sprauve, will attend to help facilitate the conversation. 

Sprauve is a filmmaker and community educator from Schenectady who works to tell the stories of inner-city youth. "Cradle" tells the story of teen pregnancy, domestic abuse, and gun violence affecting today's youth, especially in inner cities. This film was shot at Schenectady High School and other CNY locations. Sprauve and his co-writer, Francesco C. Archina, created the script based on input from local students and years of research and interviews. 

Please register online or by calling 315-735-2279 to ensure a seat in the program. Walk-ins will be accepted as space allows.

The film starts at 5:30 PM

Free and open to the public. 

Cradle is not suitable for children under 13 years of age. Parental/Adult Caregiver accompaniment is strongly recommended. This film contains strong language, gun violence, and intimate partner violence.
