Become a Mohawk River Champion!

Wednesday, August 22, 2018 / 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Learn how YOU can help the environment by reducing sewage overflows into the Mohawk River.

During heavy rain or snow melts, clean water enters the sanitary sewer system and overflows into the Mohawk River. We need your help to become a Mohawk River Champion and reduce the environmental impacts on this regional natural asset.

Join us and learn how:

You can help the Mohawk River stay clean!

You can reuse rainwater!

You can participate in fun activities that teach simple ways to help!

This program is a part of the Operation Ripple Effect, a multi-year Oneida County initiative designed to reduce sewage overflows into the Mohawk River during wet weather events.
