Residents of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida counties may apply in person at the Circulation Desk for a library card.
The Utica Public Library issues cards to the following age groups:Adult (ages 18 and over)
Youth (ages 14-17). Click here for more information.

Adults will need to provide identification and proof of address to receive a card. Those 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian sign the application and provide proof of address for a card to be issued.
