Federal Gateway - It might not seem possible, but there is a web site that appears to bring together the entire online resources of the federal government (and then some) onto one site. Federal Gateway is not a government site, but clearly they know government. Consolidated here are information and links to every federal government department, and many other local goverments as well. They have not just a search engine, but all government search engines. Plus, a way to identify all government acronyms, links to news sources inside and outside goverment, original documentation for information, and much, much more. Best Bet.

First.Gov for Kids - U.S. government interagency Kids' Portal. This site was developed and is maintained by the Federal Citizen Information Center. It provides links to Federal kids' sites along with some of the best kids' sites from other organizations all grouped by subject.

OYEZ - US Supreme Court Multimedia - A compilation of many useful resources regarding the US Supreme Court. Included is information on the pending docket, a feature called On This Day, recent news, biographies of justices. But the primary resources include FIND LAW that allows searching of Supreme Court Decisions and library of audio tapes. The OYEZ Project provides access to more than 2000 hours of Supreme Court audio. All audio in the Court recorded since 1995 is included in the project. Before 1995, the audio collection is selective. There is also a virtual tour of the Supreme Court. A very nice site. Best Bet.

Supreme Court Research - Gail A. Partin is an Associate Law Librarian in the Sheely-Lee Law Library at Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law. Her primary responsibility is providing legal research instruction and reference services.
