The Children’s Room offers services to make using the public library easy and fun for families with young children.
- free library cards for children, with no late fees
- parent/child computer play
- toys, puppets, and puzzles for children to play with while visiting the library
- loveseat for book sharing
Programs
The Children’s Room offers free programs and performances for young children with parents or caregivers.
Weekly programs include:
Story Tots for ages 1-3 (infant siblings are welcome)
Preschool Story Time for ages 3-5
Pajama Story Time for ages 3-6

Check It Out
The Children’s Room has books, videos, music CDs, tapes, computer games, and magazines that can be borrowed from the Library.
There is also a special section for parents, with books, videos, and magazines.
