No matter what your age or physical health, you can do Qigong. (chee’ kung)
The most profound medicine is produced within us through the balance and harmony of physiology, mind, and spirit. All of the necessary components of self-healing have been in place within us since the beginning of the human race. Both ancient and contemporary philosophers have pointed to our naturally occurring self-healing capacity and contemporary science has confirmed the spontaneous function of self-repair and self restoration.
People do Qigong to maintain health, heal their bodies, calm their minds, and reconnect with their spirit. It works on that many levels of self. Reducing inflammation from arthritis, and therefore pain, to building strength, balance, and speed, Qigong has something for everyone. And, it’s easy to learn!
